Edison Liu is a novice boxer under Yuri who defeats Joe in the second Megalonia, one and a half years after the events of the Megalo Box.

Liu has medium length green hair that he occasionally wears in a ponytail, but he later goes bald.

Liu met Yuri when he showed up at his home in the pouring rain, demanding that he train him so he could learn what true Megalo boxing is. Liu ends up becoming bedridden with urgent need for surgery after being hit by Mac Rosario's Mac Time while challenging Mac for the title, but still holds out hope to be able to Megalo Box again someday.
